java.lang errors

Hi,

I have an FME script that gives java errors (FME desktop 2018.1.0.1 on Windows) :

  • java.lang.Error: IP Helper Library GetIfTable function failed
  • java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Could not initialize class javax.crypto.JceSecurityManager

     

The translation finishes successfully, but I would like to avoid these errors. I tried to reinstall Java, but with no success. Any idea ?

I think we'll need more information, can you please post the entire log?

Or better yet, post a small sample workspace that reproduces the issue?

Hi David,

Thanks for your message. The workspace is relative huge. I tried to simplify it in order to locate the problem, and doing so the issue solved itself ;-) (mainly by recreating readers that where created by an old version of FME).
