Hi there,
we want to update our FME Server 2016.1 to 2018.1 in the next few weeks. Because of this, the server might be down for a couple of days. Is there a way of informing the users who are logged in to the server?
I'm imaging a message of the kind "Due to maintenance work, the server will be down from X to Y"

Not in FME Server itself and while I like the idea I don't think it's feasible as the update process involves shutting down and uninstalling the old server before installing the new one (at least when you're doing it on the same machine).
Depending on your architecture you might be able to set up a temporary webserver, point traffic there, and have it display a simple page with that message.
Alternatively you could install the new FME Server on a different machine and keep the old one active right up until the point where the new one is ready to take over.
