Hello Team,

While installing FME Server 2019, System was asking to uninstall existing setup of 2015. Is it okay to uninstall it? Is there any further consequences with this action?

Thanks in Advance

Yes Sigtill, There are some daily jobs are running in 2015. There should not be any harm to them.

@nag I assume that you've already resolved this but will provide my input anyway, in case you're still waiting for a response.

While FME Desktop will allow you to have as many different versions installed as your system can handle, it is only possible to have a single instance of FME Server installed on one machine.

When you install a new version, you should first run a backup (through the FME Server web UI) of your old instance so that it can be restored on the upgraded version. This way, you will maintain all of your existing jobs.

There are step by step instructions provided on how to upgrade your FME Server instance here:

https://docs.safe.com/fme/html/FME_Server_Documentation/AdminGuide/Upgrading.htm

As an aside, the configuration items that can be backed up / restored in a 2015 instance is somewhat limited and has been dramatically improved in newer versions but it's still very worthwhile doing.
