I’ve tried out the AI assist this week for the first time and it worked fine until it suddenly threw and error. When now starting the AI Assist within a workbench, it throws the following error: “Unknown Error. SSL connect error. When login out and back into the FME account, it sometimes works for 1 prompt and then throws the error again. It seems to work for a colleague within the same network as of now.

Any suggestions?

Hi @mifranz! AI Assist failing inconsistently isn’t expected. We’d want to get this working smoothly for you!

If you can please submit a ticket so that our team can look into this further, that would be great!

When submitting your ticket, please provide the following (if available):

- Details about the environment used (e.g. platform and OS version, FME Flow deployment, any other dependencies, etc.)
- Any relevant log files (e.g. translation logs, job logs, fmeserver.log, etc.)
- Any relevant screenshots (e.g. errors, configurations, etc.)

Thanks for the reply, it is now suddenly working, without any further action. I’ll submit a ticket if the issue reemerges.

from the AI assist the “Add to Workspace Description” is not working well, in terms of formatting with markdown. Any special characters like < > etc... delivered in the AI response, tends to mess up the markdown and I’ve even found it overwrites completely any previous workspace description at times. I’ve lodged this to support #65300 already, 2026.1.0 (26013)
